As reported in the Wall Steet Journal and other news sources, some major lending institutions are putting foreclosure filings on hold as law enforcement investigates whether banks accurately processed and filed thousands of foreclosure documents.  JP Morgan Chase and GMAC (now Ally Bank) are 2 lenders suspending foreclosures and hold mortgages for Tallahassee real estate owners.
