We talked about number of Tallahassee sales in this real estate blog before.  Here's another take on the subject. 

"When is the market coming back?"  It's a good question.  From one viewpoint, the buyers are still there.  Look at the chart.  Out of the past 20 years, 2010 saw more Tallahassee home sales than 12 of those years.  Compared to the year 2000, we look pretty good. 

The problem is, we look pretty bad compared to 2006.  We realize now that 2006 and the surrounding years made up a huge bubble that we won't see again for years... maybe a decade or more.  We need to accept that the sales we see now are the sales we'll see for the foreseeable future.
