That was the quote of the day at the Mortgage Liquidity Symposium held yesterday afternoon in Washington D.C.  The speaker was David Stevens, the former Federal Housing Administration (FHA) head who is now CEO of the Mortgage Bankers Association.  The event was sponsored by the National Association of Realtors to discuss ways of ensuring stable and affordable housing finance in the future.  
 
Specking of finance, mortgage rates are great in Tallahassee.  Many sources are lending in the 4% range.  Some 15 year loans are under 4%.
