Last week, Zillow.com released analysis that indicates the decline in home prices is picking up speed again.  According to Zillow data, we are in the 51st month of a nationwide housing recesssion.  This recession will like rival the Great Depression in terms of length (60 months) and severity.  The prime driver is of course, foreclosures and distressed properties.  Foreclosures reached record levels.  Here in Tallahassee, home foreclosures affect about 1 out of every 400 homes. 

We're just full of good news in this blog, huh?  Well, here is some good news regarding Tallahassee homes.  We've helped buyers put in offers on two foreclosures this month where the prices are so good, that the properties received multiple offers within days.  Faced with more foreclosures, banks are aggressively pricing these homes for sale.
